Hello gorgeous souls,

I’m Callie, the face behind Callie Carr Hair.

Bridal hairstyling isn’t simply what I do it’s something I have poured my heart into for more than 20 years.

My journey began in 2005 at a little salon in Karratha, Desert Rose Hair Design, where I first fell in love with the craft of hairdressing.

On 20 March 2006, I officially began my apprenticeship, spending the next four years learning the foundations of my trade and discovering just how much I loved making people feel beautiful.

In 2010, encouraged by the incredible clients who believed in me, I took a leap of faith and launched Callie’s Cuts & Colours, my own mobile hairdressing business.

In 2012, being awarded the People’s Choice Award for Service Excellence was an incredibly special moment, it gave me the confidence to believe I was on the right path. In 2013, I packed up and made the move to Perth, ready for my next chapter.

After briefly managing Volona & Associates, I realised that what I loved most was being directly connected with my clients. That led me to becoming one of WA’s early FIFO hairdressers, travelling throughout the Pilbara from 2013 to 2021 And somewhere along the way, I found my true calling. Bridal hair.

I had always loved creating bridal styles, but the more weddings I worked, the more I realised there was something incredibly special about being part of such an important morning, the excitement, the nerves, the happy tears, the laughter, the final look in the mirror I fell completely in love with it. So I made the decision to specialise in bridal hair, and I haven’t looked back.

Since then, my little dream has grown into something I could once only have imagined.

In 2022, I was honoured to receive Highly Commended / Runner-Up Bridal Hairstylist in Western Australia.

In 2023, I was crowned #1 Bridal Hairstylist in Western Australia, placing in the Top 15 Bridal Hairstylists in Australia.

In 2024, I was incredibly honoured to win #1 Bridal Hairstylist in WA for the second consecutive year, followed by being named among the Top 5 Bridal Hairstylists in Australia.

In 2025, I achieved something that still feels surreal #1 Bridal Hairstylist in WA for the third consecutive year, followed by Runner Up Bridal Hairstylist in Australia.

In 2026, I was beyond honoured to be named #1 Bridal Hairstylist in Western Australia for the fourth consecutive year.

Behinde every award, every nomination and every achievement are the people who mean the absolute most to me, My brides. Every bride who trusts me with her hair. Every message, every trial, every wedding morning, every happy tear when she sees herself in the mirror. Those moments are the reason I continue to push myself, learn, grow and dream bigger.

I am constantly investing in education and advanced training because I never want to stop learning. I want to keep evolving, refining my craft and bringing the very best of bridal hairstyling to every woman who sits in my chair. For me, bridal hair is about so much more than creating a beautiful hairstyle. It is about creating a calm, fun and memorable morning. It is about listening to what you want, understanding your vision and making you feel completely yourself just elevated. It is about those little details that make you stop, look in the mirror and think: “This is exactly how I imagined myself.”

I am incredibly grateful for every bride who has trusted me over the years, every client who has recommended me, every person who has supported my business and every person who has believed in me along the way.

From a little salon in Karratha to four consecutive #1 Bridal Hairstylist titles in WA… I truly couldn’t have written this story any better. And I’m not finished yet.

My brides are everything. My dream is still growing. And I’m just getting started.
