Hello Gorgeous souls,

I’m Callie, and I’d love to share a bit about my hair journey with you all! It all began in Karratha at a small salon called Desert Rose Hair Design in 2005. By March 20th, 2006, I had wholeheartedly dived into the world of hairstyling. After dedicating four foundational years to my apprenticeship, I felt a pull towards expanding my horizons. In 2010, inspired by the encouragement of many wonderful clients, I ventured out to launch Callie’s Cuts and Colours a personalised mobile hair service. It was an incredible time, made even more special when I was awarded the People’s Choice Award in 2012 knowing I was on the right path. Feeling the itch for more growth, I packed my bags and moved to Perth in 2013. There, I briefly managed Volona and Associates, but soon realised my heart was with direct client interactions. Listening to that inner voice, I became one of WA’s first FIFO hairdressers all over the Pilbara , a journey I cherished from 2013 through to 2021. Over the time, I knew I always loved bridal hairstyling but I found a special love for it more and more every day. The joy of helping brides shine on their big day led me to specialise in this area. 2022 was an exciting year, marked by a calendar full of weddings, Booked out and topped off Western Australia Bridal hairstylist Highly Commended Award Runner up. 2023 was a fully booked year and one of the biggest milestones of my career. I was honoured to be crowned #1 Bridal Hairstylist in the Western Australia Wedding Awards, which then placed me in the Australian Wedding Awards Top 15, where I proudly placed 12th in Australia. This incredible achievement led to a fully booked 2024, and in September 2024 I had the honour of winning #1 Bridal Hairstylist in WA again Wow. This award then placed me in the Top 5 Bridal Hairstylists in Australia at the Australian Wedding Awards 2024. 2025 brought even more joy as I continued to pour my heart and soul into my business. I was honoured to win #1 Bridal Hairstylist in WA for the third consecutive year, an achievement I never could have imagined when I first started this journey. To top it all off, I was awarded Runner-Up Bridal Hairstylist in Australia for 2025, making it one of the proudest moments of my career. I believe I’ll never stop reaching for my goals and investing in education. I regularly enrol in courses and advanced training to ensure I can be the very best for all of my beautiful brides to be. Seeing the sparkle in someone’s eyes when they look in the mirror, especially on such monumental days, is what makes this journey so worthwhile for me. I genuinely look forward to getting to know you and helping bring your hair vision to life. Thank you to every bride who has trusted me to be part of their special day.
